SiteBeat: Our 20th Anniversary

Greetings from HEROweb!

Last week (Feb 22nd, to be exact) marked the 20th anniversary of our business. What a milestone!

Some of you have been with us from the earliest days. Staci and I still remember having our web server in our basement, with our single customer, Educator’s Travel http://www.educatorstravel.com, (who is still with us!) Each time someone would visit the website, our compact Mac computer, which was hooked up to a dial-up connection, would ding, and we would proceed to get really excited and give each other a high-five. The dings were spread out at first, but soon became quite frequent.

With a few more customers, we realized very quickly we needed to upgrade our technology infrastructure. The past twenty years has been a continuous process of upgrading, refinement, and development to keep pace with a rapidly changing industry. In one sense, we still have the same business focus as we did twenty years ago: leveraging technology to deliver quality service and great value for small business customers; in another sense the evolution and sophistication of what we are doing scarcely resembles those early primitive websites.

We still are energized by the work we do and grateful to get to interact with and assist such wonderful customers every day. Thank you for joining us on this wonderful journey. We look forward to continuing to work with you and move MightyMerchant forward into the future.
